ew still images from the much-anticipated Emmy®-winning HBO Original series Game of Thrones (GOT) are released. The show is scheduled to premiere July 17th at 8 a.m. WIB with a same day prime time encore at 8 p.m. on HBO. With its previous season premiere dates between March and April, the season finale’s premiere date in July has kept GOT’s fans on edge.

The most talked about image is of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) sitting on the coveted Iron Throne accompanied by her twin brother/lover, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Several fans say Jaime has the sword previously owned by the late King Joffrey Baratheon.

Meanwhile, analyses about costume changes this season have also contributed to online buzz, where some fans think the armor-like costumes worn by the main characters represent their war ready attitude in attempting to occupy the Iron Throne.

Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) has also shed her usual ethereal-like clothing for an attire more appropriate for Westeros weather. While the picture does not give away any location clues, fans are convinced she could be in the North and speculate an allegiance with alleged brother, Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

In the North, Jon Snow reigns and this time speculation about Sansa's (Sophie Turner) political move and whether Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) has any influence on her is brewing. The reunion between Stark sisters, Sansa and Arya (Maisie Williams) is also a much-anticipated scene for fans.

Game of Thrones regular cast members, who have yet to face their onscreen deaths include Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen).
