Here are three orphanages that welcome donations.
or Muslims, Ramadhan is a month to be more religious and charitable, which is why the number of people who give donations during this month usually increases, including those given to children in orphanages.
Below are just three of many orphanages that welcome donations in Jakarta.

This foundation was established in 1955 by Sulistina Sutomo, the wife of the freedom fighter Sutomo, as there were many cases of child neglect and baby abandonment in Jakarta during the period. Up until now, it still serves as a home for abandoned children, including those with special needs.
Currently, the Yayasan Sayap Ibu Jakarta branch on Jl. Barito serves as home to 30 children, with the oldest being 11 years old. The Jakarta branch welcomes donations in the form of money or daily necessities, such as snacks, Pregestimil milk for children with allergies, Nutribaby Royal Soya 1 & 2 milk and Dancow milk.

Rumah Piatu Muslimin, an orphanage established in 1932 is now home to 62 Muslim children. It welcomes those who want to make direct donations or donate through bank transfer. It also welcomes those who want to break the fast with the children, either inside the orphanage or at another location.
It is advised to contact the orphanage to organize a breaking-of-the-fast event.

Lestari Sayang Anak, a small orphanage for abandoned toddlers and babies on Jl. Terogong Raya in South Jakarta was established by Dutch citizen Ingrid van der Mark in 2009. There are currently 10 children in the orphanage as Mark believes that smaller numbers allow for high-quality care and individual attention for each child.
The public is welcome to make donations through the foundation’s bank account or can send food, vegetables, cleaning supplies or toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste. (kes)
