witter has created special emojis to welcome K-pop band EXO on its social media platform, the symbol of which will be attached to the hashtags #EXO, #TheWarExo, #KoKoBop and #엑소 until Aug. 8.
Since joining Twitter on July 8 with the handle @weareoneEXO, the K-pop sensation has been welcomed by 11 million tweets from fans and online users, Twitter Indonesia said in a statement, adding that the hashtags #EXO dan #KoKoBop had entered the world trending topic list.
"EXO is loved by its fans all over the world. Even without an official Twitter account, there were already an average of 1 million tweets that talked about them each day," Twitter said in a press release as quoted by Antara news agency.

EXO was also among the most talked about celebrities on Twitter last year, the statement added.
The band posted a video as their first tweet on July 8 and used the "instant unlock" feature, taking the opportunity to interact with viewers of the post. (liz/kes)
