ommunity-based navigation app Waze has just launched its latest feature on iOS that enables users to record their custom voice prompts.
Dubbed Waze Voice Recorder, this feature has previously been launched for Android devices and can be accessed through "Settings," followed by tapping "Sound & Voice" and "Voice Recorder."
Users can set time limits and icons prior to recording their voice. The parts that they do not put into the Voice Recorder will still use the default Waze voice.

The app suggests that users be accurate during the recording process as it will be used to guide their trip.
In addition to the new feature, the app also lets users share their recordings. Recipients can use recordings sent to them for their own navigation prompts.
Waze previously invited celebrities to make recordings for its app, including Morgan Freeman, Keith Morrison and Cars 3 movie character Lightning McQueen. (kes)
