he ASEAN-Korea Center in Seoul launched on Tuesday an exhibition featuring artwork by 30 young artists from ASEAN's 10 nations to mark cultural exchange year and the bloc's 50th anniversary.
Held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in the South Korean capital, the exhibition will run until Aug. 20 in conjunction with the 2017 Asian Students Young Artists Art Festival (ASYAAF).
Kim Young-sun, ASEAN-Korea Center's secretary-general, said the center had organized the exhibition to introduce remarkable artwork by young ASEAN artists and to promote exchange among ASEAN and Korean artists.
"I hope this exhibition will not only be a stepping stone for promoting ASEAN artists but also a good chance for the Korean public to see their potential and purchase quality artworks," Kim Young-sun said as quoted in a statement on Monday.
