ontemporary artist Eko Nugroho is the latest creator to have his designs adorn still and sparkling bottles of Aqua Reflections, the drinking water brand's premium line.
The Yogyakarta-born artist said he adopted a bening (clear) theme in line with the brand.
"Clear is more of an attempt to deepen the meaning as something that is beneficial to health," Eko said during a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday, as quoted by kompas.com.
Within a span of three weeks, Eko said he had prepared 10 images for the project. His designs effectively replace designer Tex Saverio's designs for the line.

"There were also colorful ones that are signature to my work. However, two were chosen in the end, one blue and one green," Eko said.
The artist explained that the design represented a person peeking, adding that it was a reflection of modern society. As an artist, Eko said, he tries to convey in his work themes of "masks" and "identity" that are relevant to today.
As one of Indonesia's leading contemporary artists, Eko's work has been exhibited at various international festivals and in galleries. Between 2000 and 2015, the father of two held 14 exhibitions and took part in eight artist residency programs abroad. (liz/kes)
