Taylor Swift releases a new single off of ‘Reputation’

Taylor Swift is on a roll for the past two weeks. She first teased her new album Reputation with a video of a snake, released her first single “Look What You Made Me Do,” which was accompanied by a shady video. Now, she has debuted another single entitled “…Ready For It?”

aylor Swift is on a roll for the past two weeks. She first teased her new album Reputation with a video of a snake, released her first single “Look What You Made Me Do,” which was accompanied by a shady video. Now, she has debuted another single entitled “…Ready For It?”

It was previewed on ESPN during a football game before it was made available on iTunes and Spotify. Analyzing the lyrics, one might assume that the song is about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, a British actor who has starred in films like The Sense of an Ending and Bill Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.

However, “…Ready For It” does not sound like a typical Taylor Swift love song. It has a similar vibe to “Look What You Made Me Do” and the lyrics show her sexy side.

The first lines of the chorus start with, “In the middle of the night, in my dreams you should see the things we do, baby.” She also compares Joe to her past boyfriends, “Some boys are trying too hard. He don’t try at all though. Younger than my exes but he acts like such a man, though.”
