ndonesian singer and actress Maudy Ayunda says confidence and staying true to yourself are key to achieving goals, as well as pulling off great style.
"I think it's important to be confident, also to be authentic first. Be genuine with what you do," Maudy said.
As the new face of Pomelo, Maudy was speaking at the Thailand-based fashion label's Fall Collection launch in Jakarta last week, which took the theme "Chase The Dream".
In a world where social media has become a big part of daily life, Maudy noted it was easier to lose sight and become distracted from previously set goals.

"It's important to look within, know who we are and be true to ourselves in whatever we do," she added.
The same goes for fashion, Maudy said, adding that being authentic could make an outfit work on a personal level.
The 22-year-old Oxford graduate donned from Pomelo's newest collection a grey blazer, which she wore with a matching oversized belt and flared pantsuit that cut off mid-calf.
On her personal style, Maudy said she likes to play with shape, cut and textures, preferring to make a statement through a sleek silhouette rather than motifs. (asw)
