olling Stone Indonesia’s editor-in-chief Adib Hidayat and journalist Denny MR have launched a campaign on Kitabisa.com to help fund medical treatment for Jockie Soerjoprajogo, a former member of legendary metal band Godbless.

Tiwi Puspitasari, the musician’s wife, told the duo that Jockie’s treatment needed a lot of money.

On Kitabisa's page, Adib and Denny encourage people to share sympathy and tributes to Jockie.

Kompas.com reported that the keyboardist has been living with diabetes for over 15 years.

Jockie was scheduled to get a liver examination, as he had been vomiting blood and had a low hemoglobin count. He also reportedly needed a blood transfusion.

On Saturday, Jockie posted a status on Facebook, explaining that he, indeed, had a medical issue. However, he asked people not to exaggerate it and pray for him. (jes/asw)
