South Korean actor Kim Joo Hyuk, 45, has died in a traffic accident, according to local media reports.

The accident happened around 4.30pm (Korea time) in the upscale Gangnam district.

Kim's vehicle overturned and caught fire. He was sent to Konkuk Unive1rsity Hospital, but eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Kim is best known for TV dramas including Lovers in Prague and was once a regular member on the popular variety show 2 Days & 1 Night.
