n Nov. 8, the Swiss watch brand Longines was recognized with the Price "Revival" award at the 2017 ceremony of the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève held at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to a press release, the recognition was given to the Longines Avigation BigEye, a model from the Heritage line, for having "the best reinterpretation of an iconic historical model."

In keeping with the tradition of pilot watches, the product boasts a readable dial that focuses on the minute hand and large buttons that are easy to use with gloves.
Established in 1832 in Saint-Imier, Switzerland-based Longines has been the official timekeeper for world championships for generations. A member of Swatch Group Ltd., the brand can be found in over 150 countries. (ezr/kes)
