ans of Tintin may rejoice as Hong Kong is set to host "The World of Tintin" exhibition in collaboration with the Hergé Museum.
Set to run from Nov. 7 to Dec. 26 at ArtisTree, the event, presented by HOCA Foundation, is said to feature eight albums from The Adventures of Tintin series in "vivid scenography". Among the highlights are "three specially created models of Tintin scenes, including a model of Tintin's apartment; a large diorama of the ticker tape parade in Chicago from Tintin in America; and a collector’s model of a street scene populated by signature Tintin cars."

Visitors can also expect to join a two-day public conference featuring the famous "Tintinologist" Michael Farr as a keynote speaker, and comic art workshops that will run in parallel.
As part of the event, the city will also host three pop-up shops selling Tintin gifts, books and memorabilia at ArtisTree, CityPlaza and Central.
Created in 1929, the comic albums have been translated into over 100 languages and sold more than 230 million copies worldwide. (ezr/kes)
