Malaysian singer Sheila Majid is set to hold a world tour next year with a stopover in Jakarta on Jan. 20.
As reported by tempo.co, Jakarta will be the second city on her world tour, before Majid continues on to Singapore.
"Jakarta, Indonesia is like a second home to me," Majid told tempo during an interview in Jakarta on Friday.
Majid said the series of concerts would be her first tour, as the 52-year-old singer has previously only performed by invitation.
Her concert in Indonesia is slated to be held at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta, with ticket prices ranging from Rp 550,000 (US$25.80) to Rp 3.5 million.

Majid conveyed her excitement about performing for her fans in Indonesia and bringing a sense of nostalgia by performing songs from her early career.
Previously, Majid held a concert in Indonesia in 2004 to coincide with the release of her album Cinta Kita (Our Love).
In 2016, the singer held another concert in the country titled 30th Anniversary Concert "Kerinduan Sheila Majid" (Sheila Majid's Longing), with arrangements by the Tohpati Orchestra and Jay Subiakto.
Thirteen years after the release her album Cinta Kita, Majid released another album titled Boneka (Doll), which was dedicated to her loyal fans. (liz/kes)
