Local telecommunication operator PT Smartfren Telecom is set to launch iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X bundles on Friday.

Called “iPlan”, kompas.com reported that the package included the device and a two-year bundled data plan.

The iPhone 8 is the lowest priced at Rp 3,599,000 (US$265.58), with an iPlan 500 bundle at Rp 500,000 per month. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 Plus is priced at Rp 5,499,000 with a similar iPlan 500 package.

Those planning to get the iPhone X 64GB will need to fork out Rp 7,999,000 and sign up for a two-year iPlan 500 data plan. The iPhone X 256GB is priced at Rp 10,799,000 with an iPlan 500 bundle.

The iPlan 500 Smartfren is said to have unlimited data quota that can be used any time of day, with up to 30GB of fair usage policy. The data plan also includes free calls to other Smartfren users.

In addition to the iPlan 500 bundle, the mobile provider also offers a prepaid 4G unlimited package that can be combined with 0 percent installment for credit card holders of several banks, namely Bank Central Asia (BCA), Mandiri and Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI).

For the package, those wanting to get an iPhone will need to pay Rp 17,999,000 to get the device and one month of unlimited mobile data. To get unlimited data the following month as well, users only need to pay Rp 199,000 per month. (jes/kes)
