he poco-poco dance from Manado, North Sulawesi, warmed the cool weather in Vienna, Austria, on Sunday afternoon at the 2018 Ferien-Messe Wien (Vienna Holiday Fair).
Said to be the biggest tourism exhibition in Austria, the event reportedly attracted more than 150,000 people from Jan. 11 to 14.
The Indonesian booth, which was officially opened by Indonesian Ambassador to Austria Darmansjah Djumala, highlighted the 10 "New Bali" destinations on Tuesday as its theme, according to Antara.

The archipelago's participation in Ferien-Messe Wien was part of the annual program of the Indonesian Embassy in Vienna to bring more Austrian tourists to Indonesia. Various Indonesian art and cultural performances were showcased during the exhibition to attract visitors to the booth.
During the poco-poco dance, some visitors were seen joining the Indonesian people as well as the Austrian dance group Saman, which performed in front of the main stage.
Other than art and cultural performances, the Indonesian booth also hosted cooking demonstrations featuring chef Taufik Hidayat and Mufti, who cooked Indonesian signature dishes like sate (meat skewer), soto (aromatic soup) and nasi goreng (fried rice). (kes)
