Four new frog species have been discovered in a nature park in Peru's Amazon basin region, officials said Wednesday.

The new types were found a few weeks ago during a wildlife survey in the San Martin region.

They all belong to the genus Phrynopus.

Experts say park boasts about 2,000 species of flora and fauna.
