In addition to Singapore, Miyavi is also scheduled to visit other cities in Asia, such as Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.
Dubbed the “Samurai Guitarist,” Miyavi is known for his signature guitar playing style, in which he uses his fingers in a “slap style” instead of using a pick. Among his popular songs are “Dancing with My Fingers” featuring Japanese singer Daichi Miura, “What’s My Name?” and “All My Life” featuring Japanese musician HYDE.
The guitarist, who has been appointed as Japan's first UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador since November 2017, recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of his major debut last year with a live tour in Japan. (kes)
