lassic sneaker and slip-on brand Vans is back with another intriguing series that will excite sneakerheads everywhere. The brand joins forces for the third time with heavy metal band Metallica.
Unlike their hugely successful previous collaboration "Kill ‘Em All", the new collection features a more minimalist and classic design. In the previous collaboration, the Metallica logo was printed in a more decorative way, covering every inch of the shoe, as well as the red laces.

In the new collection, Metallica’s logo is only printed in white against a black background. On the slip-on model, the logo is printed horizontally on the top part of the shoe, while on the Sk-8 hi-tops, the Metallica logo is featured on the heel side of the shoe.
On the white mid-sole, the logo is printed in an embossed-like print.
Aside from the two series, Vans also released short-sleeved T-shirts and black trucker hats emblazoned with the Metallica logo.
The Vans X Metallica sneaker series is available at vans.com and metallica.com starting Feb. 16. (asw)
