G-Dragon is apparently doing well in the army, according to a photo made available on a Korean online forum, Sunday.
The revealed low-resolution cropped image showed G-Dragon holding up his thumb and index fingers to form a heart, surrounded by fellow soldiers. The star-turned-soldier smiled brightly for the camera.
G-Dragon enlisted on Feb. 27 as an active soldier in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province. He will be discharged on Nov. 26, 2019.
YG Entertainment on Saturday urged G-Dragon fans to refrain from sending him letters. “G-Dragon is in a difficult position within his military unit as the amount of incoming mail from fans is excessive,“ the agency said through a notice.
Big Bang’s new song Flower Road, composed and written by G-Dragon and featuring all five band members, is set for release on Tuesday.
