ollowing the reveal of the three main characters of Wiro Sableng in February, production company Lifelike Pictures has released a poster for the highly anticipated film's Dewa Tuak character, played by singer Andy from the rock band /rif.

Dewa Tuak is a seasoned warrior recognizable by his long, white beard and the bamboo flask filled with palm wine that is strapped to his back. The vessel and wine also function as his primary weapons, along with a silk thread.

Dewa Tuak is the mentor of Anggini, played by Sherina Munaf, an independent warrior who uses a purple silk scarf and silver nails as weapons.

Andy, who first rose to rock stardom in the 1990s, easily adapted to the role thanks to his martial arts background. He was once a member of the Pencak Silat Tenaga Dasar group, along with martial arts film star Yayan Ruhian.

Wiro Sableng is a fictional warrior created by author Bastian Tito who is known for his eccentric behavior. He is raised by his mentor, Sinto Gendeng, from whom he inherits an all-powerful ax, called Kapak Maut Naga Geni 212.

The Wiro Sableng movie is produced by Lifelike Pictures and 20th Century Fox. Sheila Timothy serves as producer, with Angga Dwimas Sasongko as director. The script was written by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, Tumpal Tampubolon and Sheila Timothy. The film is slated to premiere in September. (wng)
