As part of the tour, Halsey will perform in Jakarta on August 11 and in Bali on August 12.
The Grammy award-nominated artist has been touring since September 2017 in support of her second studio album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, and will finish the tour with a performance in the UK.
On the tour, Halsey will be joined by Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui in Latin America, American singer Kehlani in Australia and New Zealand, Canadian singer Jessie Reyez in North America and Indonesian singer Niki in Asia.
Halsey’s debut studio album, Badlands (2015), with four singles achieved minor commercial success. She rose to prominence through collaborations with The Chainsmokers and Justin Bieber on the singles “Closer” and “The Feeling”, respectively.
Halsey’s second album, considered more radio-friendly with synth-pop nuances, made her No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.
In Jakarta, Halsey will perform at the On Off Festival, organized by event organizer Ismaya Live and Indonesian Instagram video platform Indovidgram.
The website promises the festival will showcase an online world to an offline festival experience.
“Vloggers, singers, content creators, bloggers, you name it. We’re bringing all your online obsessions, cravings, needs and everything in between to an awesome offline festival experience,” said Ismaya on a Twitter post.
In Bali, Halsey will perform at Bali Beach Club.
Details on ticket sales for both shows are not yet available.
Singer Niki or Nicole Zefanya released a single with Sony Music Indonesia in 2014, as reported by Tempo. Last year, she joined the label 88rising and released three singles. This year, she collaborated with rapper Rich Brian (previously known as Rich Chigga) on his album Amen (2018).
The singer confirmed the tour on her Twitter account. (wng)
