Online luxury fashion retailer Net-A-Porter and Italian fashion house Fendi have announced the launch of the FF Capsule Collection.
The collection will be exclusively previewed on Net-A-Porter for one month, starting on April 13, before being made available in selected Fendi stores and on fendi.com from May 14th until the end of the year
The FF Capsule Collection is said to celebrate the heritage of the Roman house and the iconic FF logo.
Designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, the logo was hoped to bring out a contemporary yet sophisticated feeling. It is updated from the original rectangular version and is featured heavily on every item in the collection.

With graphic patterns in classic tobacco and black, alongside black and white, the collection includes bomber jackets, sneakers, boots, sandals and slippers.
Fendi has made efforts to reintroduce itself with a lighter style, when it was once the choice for power dressing. The brand has associated closely with popular models such as Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, in line with the young generation currently in favor of 1980’s fashion trademarks of logos and slightly oversized clothing.
The launch of the capsule will be celebrated in London on April 12 and then again in Dubai. The brand will also recreate the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, Fendi headquarters in Rome, in inflatable form at the Dubai Mall Fashion Catwalk from April 19 to 29. (wng)
