At 3:24 p.m., the President’s official Twitter account commented on a tweet posted by a fan base account of Beby Chaesara, a JKT48 member, “Wow cool, it reminds me of [the nervousness] in Senbatsu Uza last week.”
The post was then deleted by the Twitter admin, but not before some sharp-eyed netizens had captured it.
Presidential Secretariat deputy head of protocol, press and media Bey Triadi Machmudin said in a statement received by The Jakarta Post that the tweet was uploaded by one of the President’s Twitter administrators.
“[The person] has been dismissed,” said Bey, adding that the presidential staff had taken additional internal security and handling measures to avoid such a mistake from happening in the future. (kes)
