Swiss-based luxury watchmaker Breitling opens its first standalone boutique in Indonesia.
wiss-based luxury watchmaker Breitling and its retail partner Time International have announced the opening of the premium watch’s first standalone boutique in Indonesia.
Located in Plaza Senayan shopping mall, Central Jakarta, the outlet features vibrant pop art paintings by Kevin T. Kelly.
In the 70-square-meter-area, fans of the luxury brands can check out the complete Breitling collection, including Navitimer, Chronomat, Superocean and more.
The standalone boutique is said to be opened following the brand’s success at Time International’s retail stores, namely The Time Place and INTime.

Time International’s president and CEO Irwan Danny Mussry said in a press release, “We are honored to open the first Breitling boutique in Indonesia. This shows our commitment to build and expand the brand’s presence in Indonesia and celebrate our iconic brand with our clients.”
Breitling was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling. In the beginning, the watchmaker focused on chronographs, which were highly demanded for industrial, military and scientific application.
In 1952, the brand launched the iconic Breitling Navitimer. The design is equipped with flight-specific slide rule that was introduced with the Chronomat, making it a must-have timepiece for aviators. (jes/kes)
