A new report from medical journalism website STAT revealed just how much reality star Kim Kardashian makes per post.

According to the report, Kardashian was paid US$500,000 to promote a morning sickness pill –  $100,000 more than Donald Trump’s $400,000 salary for being United States president.

The post was from 2015 for Duchesnay USA, the company that makes the prescription medicine Diclegis, which is supposed to help ease nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy, according to Cosmopolitan.

“4 million babies are born each year in the US. That means a lot of my US followers are mommies2B who could have morning sickness like I did!” read the post’s caption.

However, Kardashian did not go on to list the side effects of Diclegis, prompting the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to demand that Duchesnay USA no longer use Kardashian to promote their product.

Still, as The Daily Dot pointed out, Kardashian and Duchesnay continue to work together, and sales of Diclegis rose in 2015, potentially because of the beauty mogul’s Instagram post. (sul/kes)
