The PlayStation Classic mini console is expected to have similar vintage controllers and packaging as the original PlayStation.
Sony Computer Entertainment is set to release a new miniaturized version of the popular console PlayStation Classic on Dec. 3.
The mini console is reportedly 45 percent smaller than the original PlayStation and will come preloaded with 20 classic games, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.
The PlayStation Classic mini console is expected to have similar vintage controllers and packaging as the original PlayStation, allowing fans to walk down memory lane.

PlayStation Worldwide marketing senior vice president Eric Lempel said in a statement, “Long-time fans will appreciate the nostalgia that comes with rediscovering the games they know and love, while gamers who might be new to the platform can enjoy the groundbreaking PlayStation console experience that started it all. All of the preloaded games will be playable in their original format.”
Priced at US$99.99, the console will come with a HDMI cable, a USB cable and two controllers.
PlayStation Classic mini is available for preorder at select retailers in the United States and Canada. (jes/kes)
