BTS has recorded accumulated album sales of 10 million.
According to the Dec. 6 report by South Korea’s Gaon Chart, BTS has sold 10,023,081 albums in its 5 1/2 years since debuting in June 2013.
The septet set a record for reaching the 10 million milestone over the shortest span of time among all Korean acts to have debuted since 2000.

From debut single “2 Cool 4 Skool” to the latest repackaged album Love Yourself: Answer, BTS has released 12 albums in Korea. Answer, the last of the Love Yourself trilogy, sold 2,169,519 copies from Aug. 24 to end-November, becoming the highest-selling album in the chart’s history.
Founded by Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Gaon Chart has established itself as the Korean equivalent of the Billboard charts over its eight years of its existence. It also organizes the annual Gaon Chart Music Awards.
