JAKARTA: Former Miss Indonesia 1996 and television host Alya Rohali was appointed Wednesday as celebrity spokesperson for Marie France Bodyline slimming service provider.
Alya, who gave birth to her second child in August last year, was chosen as the spokesperson after she managed to lower her weight from 65 kilograms to 55 kgs in two months.
"I was able to reduce my weight by 10 kgs after undergoing several treatments with Marie France Bodyline for two months," she told reporters before the opening of a Marie France Bodyline outlet at Plaza Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta.
The former Miss West Jakarta underwent several body treatments, including Marie France Bodyline's new method called the Laser Pulse System.
The 32-year-old actress said of the treatments: "They're not expensive. Affordable."
A Marie France Bodyline executive said Alya had 10 laser treatments; the cost of one laser treatment is Rp 2.5 million.
Prior to Alya, film actress Dian Nitami and top model Arzeti Bilbina were the slimming service provider's spokespersons. -- JP/Junaidi Ahmad
