SMS: Java Jazz Festival

If it doesn't cost your government or people a cent, go ahead and do it, but don't be fooled by the 'culture' content.

Jazz is celebrated by the oldies who are tired of musical finesse, and is enjoyed with barrels of beer to warm up spent and waning sexual desires.

Pity your beautiful dames as victims of Western predators, all under the banner of culture.

Pop and rock musics have been held in Jakarta on numerous occasions. I think it would be great if Java Jazz festival is held in Jakarta, because jazz is scarce here in Indonesia and I'm sure Indonesians can learn a little more about jazz from this festival.

Organizers should be careful to keep it in balance because otherwise it could be chaotic.

I think the Java Jazz festival is a brilliant idea. A lot of Indonesians who are interested in Jazz music will jump at the opportunity to watch the different Jazz music performances.

The Java Jazz festival should held every year.

Many event organizers hold big events in Jakarta, which are virtually guaranteed profit or success.

This is an unhealthy business circumstance, brought about by several factors including the central government, money circulation and (small) capital city.

And this is why everyone goes there, and that is why Jakarta is representative of a cultural center.

It would be more beautiful if the event was held in other parts of Indonesia because Jakarta has got the Jak Jazz Festival, already.

The jazz festival tends to make young people enjoy jazz. I am suspicious that it is also introduces foreign culture to Indonesia, but for me this is OK. I like it. I enjoy it passively.
