JAKARTA: Alya Rohali, dubbed the most successful among winners of Indonesian beauty pageants in the entertainment world, admitted that despite her trendy appearance she is technologically challenged.
"I am very unfamiliar with technology," she was quoted as saying by Antara on Monday during the ceremony to launch her new TV program called Galeri Desain.
"I used to put all the speakers for my home theater in front of me. The commentators of the show I host recently told me that was a mistake. How you can you experience surround sound if you put the speakers like that?" she laughed.
Galeri Desain is a TV show where participants design a comfortable family room.
"This is a show intended to be fun, but I learned a lot from it," the 31-year-old artist said. She previously hosted a popular quiz show Siapa Berani (Who Dares) with fellow presenter Helmi Yahya. -- JP
