JAKARTA: Pop singer Bunga Citra Lestari, popularly known as BCL, will tie the knot with her Malaysian partner Ashraf Sinclair next month.
"They will hold the wedding around Senayan, but I don't the know the exact place," an official at the religious affairs office, who refused to be named, was quoted as saying by okezone.com.
He said the Malaysian actor, who was born to a British father and a Malay mother, had already received the greenlight from the Malaysian embassy in Jakarta.
Bunga started her career as a sinetron (TV soap) actress before becoming a singer with her hit single "Sunny". The song featured on the soundtrack of the film Cinta Pertama, which Bunga also made her debut as a silverscreen actress.
The couple drew the attention of the media last year when pictures of them kissing on a public beach surfaced on the Internet.
Ashraf is known for his role as Eddy in the Malaysian movie and TV serial, Gol & Gincu. -- JP
