JAKARTA: The South Jakarta municipal administration said Wednesday that its renovation of Ayodya Park was aimed at providing expatriates with a recreational space and restoring green space in the city.
"There are 5,000 expatriates living in the municipality. We should use Ayodya Park as a new spot for them to picnic," said AZ Harahap, head of the South Jakarta tourism office, as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
The city park and cemetery office will ensure maintenance of park facilities, "while *the tourism office* will work on the recreational issue", Harahap said. - JPGreater-Greater-
