JAKARTA: Model and actress Kinaryosih may be beautiful, but she could not show her pretty face in her new pocong ghost role.
In her latest movie, The Real Pocong (The Real Shrouded Ghost), Kinaryosih had to wear scary makeup, along with a white cloth bundling her body.
"I didn't even dare look at my own face in the mirror," Kinaryosih said.
"I was afraid seeing it would cause me to be possessed by a spirit."
But Kinaryosih vowed to act totally for the role, doing all her scenes on her own. The film has finished shooting but it is not clear when it will hit the theaters.
"I went all out this time," she said. "No stuntman at all. I jumped into a well and got myself tangled in the window."
"It stressed me out, but it was also fun," Kinaryosih said. --JP
