Glenn files for divorce

JAKARTA: Just one day before the third anniversary of their marriage, singer Glenn Fredly and his singer wife Dewi Sandra will officially start their divorce process.

“The first hearing will be on April 2,” Artha Theresia, a public relations officer of the South Jakarta District Court, told detik.com.

Artha explained that Glenn, through his lawyer Dody Haryanto and Dedi Yusuf, had filed for a divorce on March 17 this year.

The couple, she said, is expected to be present at the first hearing, which will be led by Judge Prasetyo Ibnu Asmara.

The couple’s lawyers refused to comment about the divorce. Glenn and Dewi held their wedding ceremony in Uluwatu, Bali on April 3, 2006.

“I’m not supposed to tell the story. Some people will be hurt,” Dody Haryanto said.

Dodi also said that everything about the relationship between Gleen and Dewi have been covered in the court documents. “I’ll be blamed if I give away the information,” he said. — JP
