Of course I sympathize with Manohara's predicament, but in the past days, after following the TV coverage about her and her mother, I can't suppress my growing doubts.
If Manohara's mother, Daisy Fajarina, really had the best interests of her daughter at heart, she would have gone straight to a renowned hospital in Jakarta upon arrival in Indonesia (or, better yet, a medical center in Singapore after leaving the hotel she escaped from) to subject Manohara to a thorough physical examination.
For the results of this important examination might be of great help for Manohara in strengthening her planned legal case against the Kelantan prince, her husband.
Instead, ever since they returned to Indonesia, Daisy Fajarina and Manohara have held numerous press conferences and, on one occasion, Manohara was dressed up to the hilt in yellow and gold finery and was almost all smiles during the interview.
Please pardon me for thinking so, but is that the way someone who has suffered incessant sexual, mental and physical abuse really behaves? It does seem that, as well as this being a very cheap plot to gain public sympathy, Manohara's mother is also milking her daughter's numerous assets for all they're worth with this situation.
If that is indeed the case, I pity Manohara, the poor puppet, all the more.

I think the case is a private affair and must be dealed with the law. She should immediately ensure her former husband would be brought to justice and let the court decide. Instead she and the mother seem to only interested in talking to the media.
Another thing I read the news some group already prepare to go to war with Malaysia. I don't understand. What is this case had to do with other innocent Malaysians?

The truth will definitely be out one day..God is GREAT!
I do not sympathize for this mother and daughter, clearly these two is up to no good. They are both chronic LIARS.All the accusations that has been made does not make sense at all.She doesnt look like someone who has been abused sexually, mentally and phsyically.I think she is mentally disturbed by default.
She kept changing her statement.Keep delaying to go for physical check up reason being "the prince are paying dirty money for people to lie!!"isn't there another alternative..go to another country like Singapore where corruption is taken seriously to do her test!!It doesnt make sense.
Now she clearly said that when her husband wanted to get intimate with her on bed, she would refuse. That is where the sexual abuse begin.Seriously I really don't know how often the prince is asking her to do it but being married means loving your husband in bed too and its not about just looking pretty.
I am sure there are many people who is on Mano's side, but please open your eyes bigger and lets not be one sided. This is a husband and wife issues, why do they have to make it to public and why get countries involved. What does the whole of Malaysia got to do with this?!It is wrong. This is my point of view, pardon me if you find this offensive.

Hold on, Manohara was previously a socialite and connected with one of the Bakrie children, then she went off and married a Malaysian prince, and how old is she? Isn't this like the poor Thai culture from impoverished regions such as Isaan taken to a more profitable level? Where girls get pushed by their parents and / or spouses into bringing back the "rice" money? What does this speak of Indonesian morality where even so called celebrities are playing (think "on") the game? Rather than repressive anti-pornography and electronic media laws, why don't you just ban and block the name "Manohara". Let her sink back to where she came from and where she so rightly belongs. Holding her as a celebrity is surely more morally offensive than some piece of "totty" (which Manohara and her ample frame are not) in a bikini.

How can you write that it is too much to a mother giving her 16 year old daughter away to a 31-year man??
Here in Indonesia it is more the rule than upon a girl under 10 years are married to old men over 40 years.
But about Manohara and her mother's it is right the mother is a puppet
not Mahohara

Just like you hear your neighbour screaming for help..the first thing to do that you come and check what you could do to help..regardless whether it is to attract your attention or whatever the reason..As people who have heart, you will try your best to help people in need. At the end, doesnt matter if it's fake or not..it is about human right..how can we be so careless?? What if "all the abusive, treating people lower than animal" are true?? Can you just say..ahhh..they seem fake, how could we know?? Better not saying anything until the final verdict..Shame on you..Hopefully this time justice will not be blind..

Funny thing is I somehow agree with the above letter. After following about the case from time to time, it looks more and more dodgy each day for me.
Hope for the best for Manohara. She's so young to be even involved in all these messiness in her life.

i believe there's the reason y manohara refuse to lodge a police report. After being torture and most probably being threathened by kelantan family. How she supposed to run, everywher she go being control by them and easily been caught if she plan to run away.Poor girl married to the phsycho King..To Indonesian dont hate malaysians and most of us in msia againts all the bad happened to her

i think we cant say anything much about the case for manohara,,
of course her mom will take her to indonesia because further more if Manohara still in singapore there are still a lot of possibilities that she will be back to Malaysian soon! who knows people from kelantan will go to singapore and do something to her.??
its not the thing that she looks well..and all that,, its the thing how she feel inside, and how true is the stories..
i think we should wait for the result before telling anything to public.
and from there we could take a look further more.

i share the same suspicion. in the first place, isn't it strange a mother let her very young daughter (16 years old) marry 30s prince?
previously, manohara also dated bakrie's son, who is also much older than her.
then, isn't it reasonable suspicion that manohara's mother simply uses manohara as gold mine?
