ANGERANG: A nationalist organization known as Barisan Muda Betawi (BMB), has threatened to conduct more raids against Malaysian citizens in protest of the government's position on the origins of the Balinese Pendet dance.

The traditional dance created controversy after it was used in a Malaysian tourism advertisement.

"We will soon raid Malaysians if the government does not take measures against Malaysia," BMB chairman Aai Samudra said over the weekend.

"Frankly, we condemn the actions of Malaysians who have stepped on Indonesia's dignity," he said.

Last week, dozens of activists also conducted raids on Malaysian citizens on Jl. Diponegoro in Menteng, Central Jakarta for two hours.
