AKARTA: The Indonesian Military (TNI) sent 175 soldiers from the engineering division on another United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The TNI Garuda Contingent XX-G, which is led by Lt. Col. Arnold Ritiauw, was seen off by TNI chief Gen. Djoko Santoso in a ceremony in Jakarta on Wednesday, Antara reported.
The troops will replace Garuda Contingent XX-F, an engineering task force which was about to conclude its one-year assignment, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
