Quake rocks Bengkulu, no damage reported

JAKARTA: A 5.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Bengkulu on Sunday, the second in as many days.
The aftershock struck at about 5:50 a.m. Jakarta time, with the epicenter located at 45 kilometers southwest of the Bintuhan coast, at a depth of 24 kilometers beneath the sea floor. No damage or injuries were reported from the quake.
A quake of the same magnitude jolted the Lais area in North Bengkulu on Saturday morning. The latest powerful quake rattled Bengkulu on Sept. 12, 2007, killing nearly 90 people. - JP
