AKARTA: Jakarta Police's traffic division, cooperated with Kick Andy Foundation and Media Group, will provide 1,000 artificial legs for those who have lost their legs in a traffic accident.

"An amputee can submit a request to get free artificial legs by attaching an official statement from the head of a community unit *RW* and community group *RT* that they were poor," Sr. Comr. Condro Kirono said Saturday after signing a Memorandum of Understanding for the program.

To manage the program, Condro said the police had also cooperated with UKI hospital, Fatmawati hospital, Koja hospital, Sumber Waras hospital and Cempaka Putih Islamic hospital.
