our comments on the rampant protests against the police who named two deputy leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects in a power abuse and bribery case.

The accepted procedure is for the police to investigate a crime, for the Attorney General's Office (AGO) to decide whether or not a prosecution should be brought, and then for the courts to decide guilt or innocence.

Unfortunately, all three of those establishments, the police, the AGO, and the courts, along with the lawmakers themselves, are well-known to be riddled by corruption.

This is why there was a need for a special investigation into this case in the first place.

The public are sick of being kept from the truth, lied to, extorted, and stolen from. The House of Representatives Commission III has already proved itself not to be at all impartial in this case by applauding loudly and continuously during a recent meeting it had with Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji. That very act alone proved the House's own contempt for public opinion.

The National Police, the Attorney General's Office, and the lawmakers are cooperating with one another to kill the KPK.

These three institutions are so corrupt they are eager to extinguish the KPK to smooth their way to continue their corrupt practices.

That's why the House of Representatives' Commission III has carried out meetings with those who are on the same side. If the KPK is killed, we people must be brave enough to do the same thing as in 1998, or even more than that.

Now let's bring the real criminals to justice. And because they are from the legal system, their sentences should be tripled.

The AGO has said that two cars entering a parking lot one after another is "strong evidence" that bribery is taking place, just as a male and a female in a room together is evidence of adultery. So, is there "strong evidence" of incest if a father and his daughter are in a room (and the door is shut)? What kind of Attorney General's Office is this? What is the reason not to sack him?

The recording which was played at the Constitutional Court revealed an ever-bigger conspiracy involving a number of high-ranking officers in the National Police and the Attorney General's Office.

The presidential fact-finding team has concluded that there was not enough evidence to charge the KPK's deputy chiefs. Therefore, the police investigation of them should be halted. It wastes time and energy because the police used Antasari's testimony to build the case against Bibit and Chandra, so it has a lot of missing links.

When the public loses trust in a legal system, it is time to revolutionize the system. Because we cannot clean dirty floors with dirty brooms. We have to clean up the court mafia.
