AKARTA: A number of officials, representatives of public institutions and academics gathered Tuesday in Jakarta to discuss ways to increase women's participation in politics and government.
The workshop's participants included lawmakers, regional councilors and officials from ministries and international institutions. Carlos Haddad, deputy country director of UNDP said the workshop was timely.
