Book of Gus Dur's pluralism launched

JAKARTA: Author Demien Dematra launched a book about pluralism icon, former president KH Abdurrahman Wahid, known as Gus Dur, in Jakarta, on Monday.

Entitled Sejuta Doa untuk Gus Dur (A Million of Prayers for Gus Dur), the book perpetuates Gus Dur's thoughts on pluralism.

"He *Gus Dur* was certainly not a pluralist since he was born. However, he had key factors that made him into one," said Demien during the book launching ceremony as quoted by news portal kompas.com. - JP
