AKARTA: Tangerang General Hospital (RSUD) has stated it will treat Muhamad Rizki, a 3-month-old baby boy suffering multiple organ failures, free of charge, based on his parents low-income status.
"We have received a letter stating that the parents are poor, and we will treat the boy *free of charge*," RSUD information and legal affairs chief Achmad Muchlis said Tueday.
A preliminary diagnosis on Monday showed that Rizki was suffering from ascites, he said.
"This is the first patient suffering *ascites* the hospital has seen, and we are currently waiting on the results of further diagnosis ... to decide whether Rizki needs surgery," he said.
