ALEMBANG: Transmusi, a bus transit system, began operation in Palembang on Monday after being suspended.
The first operational phase launched 10 units of middle-sized buses, using Corridor 2 between Sako Terminal and Palembang Indah Mall.
The following launch will deploy five large-sized buses.
The buses use a dual fueling system with petrol and gas.
A ticket is Rp 3,000 (30 US cents) but during the its opening campaign commuters are exempted from charge.
