This is absolutely because they are stupid and silly.
Is there any benefit to becoming a soccer freak?

They are not true supporters because the weapons they took to Bung Karno sports complex had nothing to do with soccer.
The police need to be strict with fans like these because what they have been doing is really disturbing to the public.

I think the soccer fans have mistakenly interpreted this soccer competition with martial arts competition. They think that weapons can bring a triumphant victory to the club they support.
Weapons show not a victory but viciousness.

Those fanatical fans flock to stadiums not only to support their teams but come there for war. They think their opponents are their enemies. So that’s why they have to arm themselves with sharp weapons in order to attack or defend.
Actually this can be prevented if the soccer association (PSSI) adopts strong measures to settle this problem. Bus what has PSSI has done to cope with this? Almost nothing!
Why don’t they take an example from the Premier League? They punish any fans who merely throw a coin to the soccer field with a hard punishment: They are prohibited to watch any soccer matches forever, forever!
What about the PSSI?
Many fans have died because of brawls, but what punishments have been imposed?

I doubt those who arm themselves with sharp weapons even notice what they are doing, as some of them take alcoholic beverages with them.
There is someone behind all this, who is trying to discredit SBY, by any means possible.
