An invaluable tip from Berthold Sinaulan:

Any avid Tintin fan would surely love to visit Hergé Museum in Brussels, Belgia. However if money is a barrier, you can visit MINT Museum of Toys (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys) in Singapore which is located near Raffles Hotel. According to Berthold who has visited it several times, this museum’s Tintin collection is definitely worth-seeing.

Wikipedia on Tintin in Indonesian language:

If you want to introduce Tintin to any Indonesian-speaking person (say, before he read the comics), id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petualangan_Tintin is the right website to click. Its creator, Mokhammad Misdianto, compiled the information from wikipedia on Tintin in several languages: English, French and Dutch. He spent about 3 weeks to complete his labor of love and the result paid off nicely, as his article was chosen as “Article of the Month” by Wikipedia Indonesia.

Dalai Lama honored Tintin in 2006 (Light of Truth Award)

Dianasari (Dina) informs that Tintin is the first comic character that has been honored by Dalai Lama. The Tibetan spiritual leader honored Tintin and Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the same time. Dina is among the 222 people of who owns limited edition Tibetan Buddhist Pack (a fruition of a project that involves Tibetan Buddhist Center, Phuntsok Chö Ling, in the Netherlands). It consists of Tintin Swatch watch, Tintin in Tibet comic, a Buddhist prayer flag and a Buddhist mala (prayer beads).
