OGOR: Trains from Jakarta might be banned from entering downtown Bogor to ease the city’s chronic traffic congestion, says Bogor Regent Rachmat Yasin.

“We could ease traffic jams downtown by imposing the restriction. Jakarta-Bogor trains could stop at Cilebut train station,” he said Wednesday during the Bogor Economic Summit 2010.

The regency would provide alternate transportation from the outlying station to destinations inside the city. — JP
