AKARTA: In a bid to reduce vehicle pollution in the capital, the city administration announced Wednesday that it would designate two car-free days this month.
The city will close the main thoroughfares of Jl. Sudirman in South Jakarta and Jl. Thamrin in Central Jakarta on Aug. 8 and Aug. 29.
Jakarta aims to intensify its efforts when air quality improved after the car free days were implemented last month. — JP
