AKARTA: The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and the Indonesian Franchise and License Association (WALI) have selected 14 local franchising companies to be promoted overseas.
The brands include Baba Rafi, Bakso Malang Kota Cak Eko, Coffee Toffee, Ayam Tulang Lunak, Aqualis, Moz5 Salon Muslimah, MacAuto, Teh Saring, GwGuyur, Apotek Malaka drug store, Quemama, Jojo Cup, Tirta Ayu V Spa and Mozaic Element.
Wali’s chairwoman Levita Supit said the 14 franchising brands were chosen following a multi-round selection process. “Their legality and business feasibility are among our criteria in judging them,” said Levita during the opening ceremony of the 8th Franchise and License Indonesia Expo at the Jakarta Convention Center.
She added that the winners would be invited to participate in a business expo in Hong Kong next month and other events overseas. — JP
