AKARTA: Governor Fauzi Bowo said on Wednesday that the newly reconstructed building of the United States Embassy in Jakarta could set an example on how green buildings should look.
Fauzi made the statement soon after his meeting with US Ambassador to Indonesia Scot A. Marciel who paid him a visit at the City Hall on Wednesday.
“It was just a regular visit from him in which he also briefed me about the development of the reconstruction of the US Embassy,” Fauzi said.
He expected that the renovated US Embassy building could set the standard for green building in the capital. — JP
